Dr Stafford has been practicing in Frankfort for 22 years. She is trained in the latest eye health diagnosis and treatment available. We are here 5 days per week to serve your visual and eye health needs. We accept new as well as established patients. Our experienced staff are all cross trained in eyewear selection and adjustment, as well as insurance billing.

A visual field machine

Used in determining glaucoma, as well as brain tumors and many other neurological problems It helps determine the extent and sensitivity of a person’s peripheral and central vision. These machines are commonly used to diagnose and monitor eye conditions like glaucoma, optic nerve disorders, and other conditions affecting visual pathways.

Macuscope

Measures Macular Protective Pigment Density, or MPPD in a very quick test). Low MPPD is a major, modifiable risk factor for macular degeneration. Macular Degeneration is the leading cause of vision loss for people over the age of 50 in the Western world.

Computerized medical records

We also have a very large selection of glasses, including many sunglasses. Our sunglass line includes the Rudy Project line of sports sunglasses, other high end sunglasses, as well as magnetic clip-on sunglasses. We can make prescription sunglasses as well. Our regular glasses lines include Guess, Coach, Rayban, Tommy Hilfiger, Tura, and Safilo.

Dr Lisa Stafford O.D.

Dr Lisa Stafford grew up in Rossville, Indiana. After graduating from Rossville High School in 1989, Dr Stafford went to Indiana University for her undergraduate education. Since she was accepted 1 year early into the optometry program, her undergraduate degree is a BS in Optometry obtained from Indiana University. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1996 from Indiana University. Dr Stafford started practicing in Frankfort, Indiana immediately upon her graduation from IU in 1996. She is proud to be practicing in the county in which she was raised. She lives in Frankfort, and is married to Tom Adams. They have 1 daughter, Samantha. Dr Stafford enjoys playing many sports, as well as exercising, reading, and playing with her daughter in her free time. She and her husband have also coached Samantha’s teams in basketball, softball, and soccer.

Dr Stafford is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association, the Tecumseh Optometric Association, the Optimist Club, Zonta, and is a member of the Clinton County Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors. She is also a member of St Matthew United Methodist Church. She is licensed by the Indiana State Board of Optometry and has therapeutic certification from the Indiana Board of Optometry.
